Miss America is coming to Chicago!

Miss Xyza Armistice is organizing Miss America Pageant, a dazzling event that celebrates beauty. The CH had to find out first hand about a few details… Miss Xyza promised to give us further information so every beautiful girl as well as all kind gentlemen would know about the where and the when of this alluring event coming to Chicago!




CH: How did you come up with an idea for an event that celebrates beauty?
XA: Oh my !! OH My !! cant keep anything hidden from the press (laughs).


CH: How did I come up with an idea for an event that celebrates beauty?
XA: I received a letter from one of my long time and dear friend that a League of Businessmen, in Atlantic City wants to appoint a committee to organize a sponsored beauty pageants.
And also working with MGM for 5 years, during that time, being the number one photographer in my  profession. Fashion and beauty was emphasised in their films and therefore attracted more women than men. Hollywood stars and woman all over the world have and want to show themselves and their beauty to the world clad in beautiful clothes, whether on set or off, on the streets or on the beach.  I'd like to bring the Beauty and tradition back to Chicago. 


CH: Do you already a have a date for the event?
XA: No, not as yet but you will be the first to know as soon as I have one


CH: Who can participate in the pageant?
XA: The Pageant is open to All woman that wishes to participate, for any non resident of Chicago an entry fee of $L200 will apply


CH: Do any specific rules apply to the pageant?
XA: Yes rules will also apply:
*the competitors will stand for their cities not state and must be available for the durations of the event which most likely will be held over 4 days with the duration to be as yet determined
*photo submissions with 3 sets of 1920 period clothing
*Swimsuit
*Day wear
*Evening/ cocktail dress

*Photo must include a close up of face and visible clear full body, all photos must have full permission and submitted in folder named Beauty Pageant (your name) to Miss Xyza Armistice 

(PLEASE NOTE ALL CLOTHING MUST BE 1920's PERIOD ONLY OR YOU WILL BE  DISQUALIFIED)


CH: Which is the prize to the winner? Do 2nd and 3rd place take prizes as well?
XA: Yes,
*3rd place L$1500
*2nd L$ 2500
*1st L$ 5000 with Trophy and Crown
*and additional prizes as yet to be determined
*winners will be judged by an independent panel of 4, during our live pageant.
*Judging to be based on beauty, style and poise, according to 1920's standards.


CH: What kind of sponsorship are you going to have to organize the pageant?
XA: Black Heart Glamour Photography Studio - Owner Miss Xyza Armistice will sponsor the pageant.
