InDepth: Fayandria Foley

The InDepth Column introduces the most interesting, famous and exquisite Citizens of Chicago. The questionnaire is almost the same and what makes each interview unique is the subject’s answers and reactions.

She is emotional; she is generous; she is loving, giving and true to herself and others... Meet Miss Fayandria Foley and take an InDepth look into her character…

*SL Name: Fayandria Foley
*Age: 19 to 21 (a lady never tells her real age or weight *giggling*)
*Rez day: March 11, 2006
*Best moment in SL: The last lap of the first Relay I chaired – mind boggling emotions at the power of conviction from people “playing a game”! *winks*

CH: What brought you to Chicago?
FF: My parents settled here when they came to this country from Ireland and I was born here in Chicago. Father and Momma wanted a house full of children but…*smiling* I guess I made them change their mind.

CH: Tell us a bit about your background.
FF: I am a worker bee, I love to organize everything from paperclips to people. I delight in lining all the parts up for something to happen and then watching it all fall into place. My dream of a little house and white picket fence was trashed and my heart broken at a time in life when I was sure, I was the Cat's Meow. Only I wasn't – it's a hard lesson to learn that you don’t measure up to everyone’s expectations when your only goal is to do just that. It was a valuable lesson though; so now I carefully watch and listen first before jumping out or in. I am diligent in dotting the I-s and crossing the T-s with anything I become involved. I know only to well that the loudest and flashiest is not the strongest and smartest in the room.

CH: I know you’re always incredibly busy, but fill us in on your daily tasks.
FF: Task? Like chores? Umhmm…no task, though I do watch over a few little enterprises of my own, and I…of course, help my Father in his businesses when ever and where ever needed.

CH: What do you like to do in your spare time you find?
FF: SHOP! And then shop some more. I love clothes and discovering new designers is a thrill so I *wink* look for discoveries while shopping. Dancing is also a delightful way to spend spare time and flirting … then of course, shopping a bit more.

CH: What was your proudest moment in regards to Chicago?
FF: Difficult question. I will pass on that one for now. Maybe ask me again one day.

CH: If you were offered one million dollars or the ability to have one superpower for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?
FF: I would refuse the offer. I have no need for more money and I love the balance of this world as I know it; so no super power for me either. Besides, I am so SUPER already any more would just be redundant.

CH: What or who is your favourite and why…
*Animal? Dogs, Labradors especially; they are everything a man should be but easier to train.
*Superhero? Betty-Boop, she is sexy and extremely smart but hides it so well that others are never threatened or intimidated by her.
*Place to live? PARIS! Once I stopped crying after my parents exiled me there - I found it to be the most stimulating city.
*Place to vacation? Spain! Where else would anyone want to go? The excitement of running with the bulls, the clear calm of the beaches, the seduction of the sultry dances and the moist warm weather…Darling, where else would one go?
*Season of the year? Fall. The colours of nature during that season is a collage of sensuality. Exciting reds, eager oranges, teasing yellows, and mellow browns waiting with anticipation of ... then add the cuddling coolness of the weather. Why would it not be everyones’ favourite?
*Book? I have read nothing but textbooks for so long now that I have need to pass on this question but I do enjoy reading the latest Chit Chat column daily.
*Movie? ANYTHING! ANYTHING, with Douglas Fairbanks Junior in it! He is so kippy!
*Celebrity? *burst out laughing* Douglas Fairbanks Jr. Darling, of course!
*Hobby? I and a group of friends like to help the city out with little deeds of kindness so … that would be my outfit… I mean hobby.
